Terms of Use
Effective 7 September 2026. These terms cover the ParkBrawl iOS app and parkbrawl.com.
These are the rules for using ParkBrawl. They are written to be read, not to be survived. The two that matter most are near the top: we have nothing to do with any theme park, and the game must never be more important than looking where you are going.
ParkBrawl is independent
ParkBrawl is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by, or connected in any way to The Walt Disney Company, Universal Destinations & Experiences, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, or any other theme park, resort or park operator.
The game names real attractions, restaurants and places, because that is what makes it a game about a real park visit. Those names, and all associated logos and characters, are the trademarks of their respective owners. We use them descriptively — to tell you which real ride to go and ride — and claim no rights in them. Nothing in ParkBrawl is official park content, and no park operator has reviewed, approved or endorsed it.
1. Agreeing to these terms
By downloading or using ParkBrawl you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app. ParkBrawl is published by Mike Blom, of 13059 Penshurst Lane, Windermere, FL 34786 ("we", "us"). Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which you can read at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these terms and Apple's EULA conflict, Apple's EULA governs the licence to the app itself.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use ParkBrawl only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf.
2. Safety comes first, always
ParkBrawl is a game played in a crowded place full of other people, moving vehicles and real hazards. Nothing in it is worth an injury.
- Do not use your phone while walking. Step out of the flow of people, stop, then look at the screen.
- Obey every park rule, sign, barrier, height and health restriction, and every instruction from park staff. They override anything the game suggests.
- Never enter a restricted area, climb anything, or do anything unsafe or against park rules to claim a square. No square requires it, and no square is worth it.
- Keep an eye on children in your party. The game is not a substitute for supervising them.
- Do not attempt any challenge that is unsafe for you on the day. Skip it.
You are responsible for your own safety and for the safety of anyone you are responsible for. We are not.
3. Your ParkBrawl "account"
There isn't one. ParkBrawl creates an anonymous identity on your device the first time you open it. That means there is nothing to log into and nothing to lose a password to, but it also means that if you delete the app, your games and any subscription link to that installation are gone with it. Restoring a subscription on a fresh installation is done through the Restore option on the paywall. The privacy policy explains this in full.
4. ParkBrawl Plus
Downloading ParkBrawl is free. Joining a game you have been invited to is free. Playing a solo Scavenger Hunt is free. Hosting a competitive game, inviting friends to a Hunt, and generating challenge suggestions require ParkBrawl Plus, an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple's In-App Purchase.
- Price and period. ParkBrawl Plus is offered monthly at $7.99 and annually at $29.99. The price shown in the app at the moment of purchase, in your own currency, is the price that applies.
- Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and your Apple Account is charged for the renewal, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Cancelling. Cancel at any time in your App Store subscription settings — on iOS, Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep hosting until the end of the period you have already paid for. We cannot cancel a subscription for you, because Apple, not us, holds the billing relationship.
- Refunds. All purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are Apple's to give. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Unused portions of a period are not refundable by us.
- Changes. We may change what Plus includes or what it costs. Any price change is subject to Apple's rules and will not take effect for an existing subscriber without notice and, where Apple requires it, your explicit agreement.
- Free trials and offers, where any are made available, are as described in the app at the time. If a trial is not cancelled before it ends, it becomes a paid subscription.
About the challenge suggestions. They are written by a third-party AI model from what the host types about their day, and they are drafts, not advice. A suggestion can be wrong, impossible on the day, or unsuitable for the people you are playing with. A person chooses which of them go on the board, and the host is responsible for every challenge they add — including that it is safe, legal and appropriate for everyone in the game.
5. Wait times and park information
ParkBrawl shows ride wait times and similar park information sourced from third-party public data, not from the parks themselves. It is frequently wrong, often out of date, and sometimes missing altogether. Rides close, queues move, and a park changes its hours without telling anybody's API. Treat every number in the app as a rough hint and check the park's own app or a posted sign before you rely on it. We do not warrant that any of it is accurate, current or complete, and we are not responsible for a plan you made on the strength of it.
The challenges in a pack describe real places that may be closed, refurbished, seasonal, or gone entirely. If a square cannot be completed on the day, skip it — that is a normal part of the game.
6. Acceptable use
When you use ParkBrawl, you agree not to:
- Enter anything into a team name or a custom square that is abusive, harassing, hateful, sexual, threatening, or that impersonates somebody else. Whatever you type is shown to everyone else in the game.
- Write a custom challenge that asks another player to do something unsafe, illegal, or against a park's rules.
- Include anybody's personal information — real names, phone numbers, addresses — in a team name or a custom square.
- Claim squares for things you did not do, or otherwise interfere with the fairness of a game.
- Attempt to break, probe, overload or reverse-engineer the app or its servers, use it through automated means, or work around any technical limit in it, including the check that decides who may host.
- Use ParkBrawl commercially — reselling access, running paid events off it, or scraping its content — without our written permission.
Report anything abusive to support@parkbrawl.com. We may remove content, end a game, or block an installation from using ParkBrawl if these rules are broken, and we may do so without notice where the situation calls for it.
7. Content you create
Team names and custom challenges stay yours. By entering them you give us permission to store them and show them to the other players in your games for as long as we run the service. If you save a board as a pack, that permission covers keeping it so you can play it again — a pack is private to your installation, and giving somebody its code lets them add an independent copy to their own app, which you cannot change and which cannot change yours. Sharing a result card sends the information shown in its preview to the destination you choose. You confirm that what you enter is yours to enter and does not infringe anybody's rights.
8. Our content
ParkBrawl itself — the app, the artwork, the characters, the challenge packs and the name — belongs to us and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own entertainment on devices you own or control. You may not copy, sell, sublicense or redistribute it, or use our artwork or brand without permission.
9. The service can change or stop
ParkBrawl is an online service. We may add parks, change challenge packs, alter game rules, take features away, or stop running the service altogether. We will give reasonable notice of anything major where we can. If we discontinue the service entirely while you hold a paid subscription, refunds for the unexpired portion are requested through Apple as described above.
Games and their data are deleted on the schedule described in the privacy policy. Do not treat ParkBrawl as a record of your holiday.
10. No warranty
ParkBrawl is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, available in any particular park, or that any data it shows will be correct.
Some places do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, loss of enjoyment, or lost time, arising out of your use of ParkBrawl.
In particular, and without limiting the above, we are not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from anything you do in a park while playing, from a wait time or other park information being wrong, from a challenge you could not complete, or from a park's own rules, closures or decisions.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims relating to ParkBrawl is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of ParkBrawl, from content you enter into it, or from your breach of these terms.
13. Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for ParkBrawl. Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, or any claim you may have relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change, and if a change is significant we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use ParkBrawl after a change means you accept it.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections and any right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
16. Everything else
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a term on one occasion does not waive it. These terms, together with the privacy policy and Apple's EULA, are the whole agreement between us about ParkBrawl.
